A common misconception some among christians is if they associate with people outside of their faith or living a different life style from them that they will somehow be defiled or become "unclean" which just isn't true, look at how Jesus lived and how he treat those around him, He wants us to reach out to people who need him; which is everyone regardless of their life's circumstances.
